Padraig
Lynch ACII
Padraig is a Director of Power Lynch & Associates Ltd which
was formed by both Padraig Lynch and Eamon Power in January
1999.
Padraig has 25 years experience in the insurance industry. His
career started in the underwriting and claims area of Insurance
Corporation of Ireland which is now known as Allianz.
Padraig subsequently decided to focus his career on the
insurance broking sector specialising in the general insurance
sector. He worked as an account executive for Glennon Insurance
Brokers and then moved onto Alan Tierney & Partners Ltd where
he remained for 10 years and was appointed a director and company
secretary
Orlagh
Nevin
Orlagh Nevin has 25 years experience in business markets gained
within blue chip organizations. Orlagh specialises in delivering
strategic plans that are customer focused, with clear positive
revenue streams. The majority of Orlagh's career was 9 years within
O2 where she was a key contributor to the Commercial operations of
O2 Ireland.
Since leaving O2 in April 2006, Orlagh has offered independent
consultancy to organisations predominately around business planning
for growth, development of service portfolios and analysis of
target markets. Orlagh initially became involved with
Insureme.ie and was responsible for the set up, preparation and re
branding of Insureme.ie to Chill.ie (sister company of Power Lynch
& Associates) in May 2008. Since then Orlagh has sat
on the board of Chill.ie and consults on marketing and sales
strategy.
Seamus Lynch
Seamus joined Digicel as CEO in May 2000 when the company was
awarded its first licence in Jamaica. Following Digicel Jamaica's
highly successful launch which saw the company become market leader
within the first year of operation, Seamus went on to become the
Group's first CEO in 2003 as the company rapidly expanded across
the Caribbean.
In 2005, Seamus was appointed to the Board of Directors as Non
Executive Director. In this role, Seamus acts in an advisory
capacity to new markets as the company expands into Central America
and the Pacific.
Seamus joined Digicel with ten years experience in the telecoms
sector, having joined Telecom Eireann (now Eircom) in 1991 in the
New Enterprise department to identify new business opportunities
for the company.
In 1993, Seamus was then transferred to Eircell (Eircom's mobile
arm) as GSM Sales Development Manager. He later joined Esat Telecom
as Bid Director to assist with the successful acquisition of the
GSM license, before transferring to project management where he
helped set up East Digifone and was subsequently promoted to
National Sales Manager.
Seamus has a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin
and an MBS in International Marketing.
Declan Humphreys - Group Director
Declan has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry
and has gained a wealth of experience having worked with both large
and small broking houses for some of Ireland's leading insurance
brokers. During this time Declan has acquired superb leadership,
partnership building, interpersonal and communication skills whilst
operating in a results focused environment.
The majority of Declan's career was spent in corporate broking
where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts which
included shopping centres, large sports retailers, pharmaceutical
companies, industrial manufacturers, transport sector and large
property owner's risks. In his current role as Group Director,
Declan is responsible for the Commercial section of Power Lynch
including retention of existing business and new business
development.
Eamon Power
Eamon is a Director of Power Lynch & Associates Ltd which
was formed by both Eamon Power and Padraig Lynch in January
1999.
Eamon has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry.
Eamon started with Church and General Insurance Company (Now part
of the Allianz group) in 1978 as a motor and household underwriter,
moving to the broker network in 1984.
Eamon spent the next 26 years with some of the largest brokers in
their field such as Jardine Insurance Brokers and Alan Tierney
& Partners. During these years Eamon gained a wide range of
experience in general insurance broking as an account executive and
account administrator mainly with small to medium size clients.
